Starting a new year with fresh creative energy can set the tone for months to come. This year has already brought some fantastic opportunities to work with talented models and explore new photography projects. From studio shoots to social evenings with fellow creatives, the first couple of months have been full of inspiration and collaboration. Here’s a look at some of the highlights and what’s coming up, along with details about the studio space that makes these projects possible.

Working with Models Irida and Jess
One of the most rewarding parts of photography is the chance to collaborate with models who bring ideas to life. In January, I had the pleasure of working with Irida. Our session focused on capturing strong colour and dynamic poses, both of which highlighted her unique versatility. It was a great way to kick off the year, setting a creative tone and building momentum.

February brought a fun styled Valentine’s shoot with model Jess. This session was more playful and themed, allowing for experimentation with lighting, props, and my new filters. The shoot took place during a social evening with fellow photographers and creatives, which added a lively and supportive atmosphere. These kinds of group events are perfect for sharing ideas and socialising with like minded creatives.

Upcoming Booking with Model Daisy
Looking ahead, I have a booking scheduled with model Daisy at the beginning of March. This session promises to be another exciting opportunity to explore new concepts and techniques. Keep an eye out for updates and previews from this shoot, as it will showcase some fresh creative directions.
Model Days at Saintly Snaps Photography Studio
Saintly Snaps Photography Studio is located at Grove Farm in Moulton village, Northampton. It’s a shared site with several other small businesses, creating a vibrant community environment. The studio offers free parking and all facilities are conveniently on the ground floor, making it accessible and easy to use.
Model Days at the studio provide a valuable chance to work on personal projects and commercial bookings. Photographers and models can book individually or as small groups, which encourages collaboration and networking. These days are ideal for trying out new ideas, testing equipment, or simply enjoying a focused creative session without distractions.
Following Irida, the next available model for booking is Daisy.

Benefits of Studio-Based Photography
Shooting in a studio like Saintly Snaps offers several advantages:
Controlled lighting: You can shape and modify light precisely, which is harder to achieve outdoors.
Consistent environment: Weather and natural light changes won’t affect your shoot.
Access to equipment: The studio has a vast range of backdrops, props, wardrobe and professional lighting setups.
Comfort and convenience: Facilities like parking and ground-floor access make the experience smoother for everyone involved.
Creative collaboration: Support is on hand prior to, during and after any shoot to help you get the best from your booking.
These factors contribute to higher quality images and a more enjoyable process for both photographers and models.
Planning Creative Photography Projects
Later in the year, there are exciting plans to develop more creative photography projects. These will include themed shoots, experimental lighting techniques, and collaborations with a wider range of models and artists. The goal is to push boundaries and explore new styles while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
If you’re interested in booking a session or collaborating on a project, it’s a good idea to stay connected and watch for announcements. Working with different models and in a supportive studio space can open doors to fresh ideas and opportunities.
How to Book Your Own Sessions
Booking a session at Saintly Snaps Photography Studio is straightforward. Whether you want to work solo, with a model, or as part of a small group, the studio offers flexible options. Here are some tips for making the most of your booking:
Plan your concept: Have a clear idea of the style, mood, and outcome you want.
Communicate with the studio and models: Share your vision and discuss wardrobe, makeup, and poses in advance.
Prepare your equipment: Check your camera, lenses, and lighting gear before the shoot.
Arrive early: Use the time to set up and get comfortable with the space.
Be open to experimentation: Sometimes the best shots come from trying something unexpected.
Booking early is recommended, especially for popular dates, models and themed shoots.
