Summer Fun

The last couple of months have been really exciting! From photoshoot events to social events. I'm sure this time of year is the same for everyone. Enjoying the summer, holidays, weddings etc.

Personally and professionally it is a great time!

I recently enjoyed an amazing event in Worcestershire at a former convent, dating back to the 1870's. It was styled by the fabulous Tabitha Boydell and hosted not just one, but five very beautiful and talented models; Ashleigh Rae, Amie Boulton, Hope Daniella, Miss Rosie Lea and Saffron.

I really enjoy photographing models in derelict buildings, to be quite honest, the more run down the better. I find it really opens up the creativity to bring to life something which was once filled with hustle and bustle, but is now standing abandoned, empty of what once was, chipping away and damp. The beauty and the beast to some extent. It also opens up opportunities to photograph the location itself, which is fantastic to capture a moment in time, the history and age which can then also be incorporated in todays compositions.

I'm looking forward to sharing more of what I have been doing over the next few weeks, but for now, I just want to let you know we have had some amazing work submitted for the next issue of our community magazine.
