How was your Easter break? Mine was busy busy busy! I had the week off with big plans to catch up on decorating and gardening and after a few days of feeling under the weather, that is exactly what I did and soooo happy with the results.....of course, I couldn't go without over indulging on a little chocolate - rewards for all the hard work are ok though, right?!
I'd love to hear what you got up to, did you celebrate, go to church, eat too much, maybe took part in an Easter egg hunt?
Thank you for taking part in the fun little poll on my last blog for my personal challenge with @52Frames. I chose to enter the one below because I thought it fitted the brief of 'music' the best and because I love the shape, lighting and way Zara is holding the Cello......Is this the one you chose?

I was delighted to receive news that my image had been chosen for week 12's ' 52 Picks'

Not only this, but I was also contacted to ask if I would give permission for my image to be a part of a collaboration for a music event which was amazing. I absolutely love nothing more than artists supporting each other and while it is a shame that I couldn't be there for the evening, I was, without a doubt happy to have my work included. Did you get to see it? I'd love to hear about it!

Creative Magazine
I am in the process of putting together a magazine for all creatives and I am soooo excited! The idea came from wanting to have a platform for all creatives to share, support and build a community and I am hoping you want to be a part of it!
This will be a free digital magazine released quarterly to share your work, events, tips and tricks, links to pages, recommendations and much more. If you are a creative or have an appreciation for all things creative from photography to crafts, painting to flower arranging, makeup artists to writers I'd love to hear from you!

Multiple creative interests welcome. Category ideas but definitely not limited to are;
Virtual exhibition - images of your work including any relevant credits / Events running - June / July / August and onwards / Hear from our artists with a mini bio and links etc / Recommendations and looking for section - eg HMUA, equipment, materials designers etc / Tips and Tricks eg techniques / Open section.
Submissions close 14th May for Issue 1
T&Cs Include credits where applicable, No adult content, content will be accurate to the best of my knowledge, release forms to be in place where applicable and parental / guardian permission to be included for all under 18s. Any questions feel free to reach out. Watermarks can be included if you wish. Content will only be shared within the magazine, promoting you where applicable and / or promoting the magazine but please include any questions / comments within your submission email if you have them.
